INTRODUCTION
Lunchology recognizes the importance of protecting the information that we collect from customers during the process of purchasing a product, or registering for a service, newsletter, or contest. We will not sell our customers’ personal information to third parties.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act requires that we inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age; and that we obtain the consent of parents and guardians in order for children under 13 years of age to use certain features of our web site. Below we explain how we do that for these children.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY POLICY
Your child's privacy is important to us at Lunchology. We are committed to safeguarding children's personal information collected online, and to helping parents and their children learn how to exercise control over personal information while exploring the Internet. The following paragraphs summarize Lunchology’s current policy regarding the collection and use of personal information about children under 13 years of age. The policy may be updated from time to time, so please check back frequently.

TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED AND LUNCHOLOGY’S USES OF THE PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "personal information" is defined as individually identifiable information, such as a first and last name; a home or other physical address including street name and city or town; an e-mail address; a telephone number; a Social Security number; or persistent identifiers such as customer or processor serial numbers held in a cookie, where the identifier is associated with individually identifiable information. Cookies are small text files that we may place in visitors' computer browsers to store their preferences. In almost all activities, Lunchology does not collect personal information as defined under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.

Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, no web site operator can require, as a condition of participation in an activity, that a child under the age of 13 disclose more information than is reasonably necessary. We abide by this requirement. We collect and use only as much information about a child as necessary for the activity, and do not condition participation in any online activity on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.

We will collect a child’s e-mail address if a child participates in one of our contests. The “personal information” that is collected includes only the e-mail address, which is used for contest notification purposes. E-mail addresses will never be posted on our Web site or given to outside parties. We only keep the e-mail address until the particular contest is completed. We do not share children’s personal information with anyone other than those who provide support for the internal operations of the Web site and our agents (e.g., contractors who provide fulfillment services or technical support to the Web site). Please read the specific contest’s rules and regulations for more information.

We may collect a child’s e-mail address to respond to a specific one-time request from a child regarding our Web site, our products, or our contests. We will delete the parent or child’s e-mail address after we respond to the request.

We may collect other, non-personal, information that may be used by us for internal purposes. This non-personal information may include only the child’s first name, age, city and state. If a child wins a contest, we will only publish this non-personal information.

If a child submits artwork, comments, or anything else that is posted on our site, the child will only be identified by first name, age, city and state.

If we know a visitor is under the age of thirteen, we will collect a parent's permission offline (by postal mail, fax, phone, or credit card authentication) before we collect any personal information other than the child’s e-mail address that is to be used for contest notifications and/or for specific one-time requests for information (as mentioned above).

Parents may review and have deleted their child's personal information, and may refuse to permit further collection or use of their child's information by contacting the Lunchology representative listed below.

Parents may consent to our collection and use of their child's personal information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to others.
